No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true.
i was watching the first avenger and wondering how Bucky knew Steve was getting his ass kicked in the back of some random alley behind a movie theatre
like does he just check alleyways whenever he’s walking down a street to see if Steve’s started another fight he can’t finish
the answer is probably yes
headcanon that, even when brainwashed, Bucky still stops at alleyways and looks down them to find nothing
and he never knows what he’s looking for
Ragnar is right. Aslaug, this child will never walk. By the gods, you must- you must put him out to die.
What if we were sent here for a reason?
Unappreciated Glader Appreciation Week → Day Three: Gally
“They … can control me … I don’t—”
Gally is seen as a villain in the books, and apparently it’s a little harder to see, but also seen as a villain in the movie but a little more conflicted. Obviously, Gally is not a villain at all. Dashner writes him to seem like the bad guy of the glade, the bully, the one who picks on others and is a jerk, but he’s not. Gally is just another kid under WICKED’s control. He didn’t want to do the things that he did. He was scared out of his mind about what WICKED could do to him or the ones he cared about, and it’s obvious movie!gally is a lot more caring than book!gally. WICKED made Gally get stung by a griever, they made him go through the changing so they could make him out to be the bad guy and to cause trouble so everyone in the glade would hate him all because of the variables WICKED needed. At the end of the book, we realize Gally is being controlled by WICKED, that he’s not the one that killed Chuck, but it was WICKED who did it. Everything that Gally has ever done, was because WICKED needed him to be the bad guy, but Gally was never the bad guy/the villain, he had no control over who was controlling him. I’m really excited to see what they do with his character in the movie, i hope by the end of the movie, there will be more people who love gally, than hate him.
He’s my friend.
